Default can't boot to computer nor bios shows

I have a custome built computer. I have the 8800 512 mb gt, abit mother board, intel duo core 2.66 ghz 250 maxtor hard drive. The problem seem it started yesterday. When i turned it on it would show the bios but wouldnt let me go in windows stayed there. I noticed that the fan wasnt moveing computer fan. Since i overclocked to 3.1 ghz i doubt it was that cuz than i underclocked back to 2.66. I was on the computer last night after that being able to boot. Today before turning it on i wanted to check the fan opened it up cleaned it up the fan didnt work so i took it off but this time the bios didnt show which is abit. At first it would boot up bios didnt show than restart itself and reboot did that constantly. I took out the battery from the bios for a 2 minutes put it back. Now it boot it up and restart no bios showing than when it rebooted it stayed on screen not showing anything. What can be the problem what else can i do? I dont know if this was the right place to post it since i was thinking here or hardware. Any help appreciated.
