    Default What PC should I get for rendering videos?

    Could anyone recommend a, preferably cheap, PC tower for me to get for, primarily, rendering videos? Possibly doing some recording/gaming (only Minecraft or online games)?

    I wouldn't be able to build my own (I always get distracted when making anything, and end up losing parts, breaking it, etc) and could you actually name a tower to get, rather than just specs (I'm not very good at looking for things, again, I get distracted and forget what I was doing)?

    Please can someone help ;w;

    We would need a budget to be able to recommend anything.

    What software are you using?

    Well, something under £200? but, if I need to spend more, than I'll just need to save more and wait longer.

    I just use Windows Movie Maker for rendering, and Fraps for recording.

    Oh, and I'll probably be using it to record xbox 360/ nintendo wii gameplay to, via a PVR.

    There not much you can get for that amout of money, but I own a PC/Electronics store & your best bet is a Off Lease Corporate PC. They are fully refurbished & have a clean install of Windows 7. Here are my 2 best options for $200 Euros which if I calculated it correctly is roughly $248 US dollars. 1st 1 is your best bet. My prices include shipping but not to Europe, but Im sure we could work something out. Check them out & let me know if you would like more info. The prices are in Euros

    $226.43 Dell Optiplex 740 Desktop PC with a AMD Athlon 64 X2 2.0GHz Dual Core Processor, 2GB DDR2 Ram, 500GB Hard Drive, DVDRW Drive, Keyboard & Mouse, Windows 7 Professional 32-bit, (Off-Lease) 1YR Warranty

    Thanks, but I think I've found the one I want. It's slightly more expensive than what I wanted to spend, but I think it's worth it.

    Galaxy 3, Gigabyte H61M Motherboard Technology, Intel Quad Core I5 2380P 3.1Ghz CPU, 1tb Sata Hard Drive, 8gb DDR3 1333 Memory, ATI Radeon 5450 1gb DDR3 with HDMI, 24x Dual Layer Sata DVD Writer, Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

    It's 440gbp (690usd) but it's exactly what I want, so I'm happy to spend more for it.
