This thread title should be updated to say $199, its been that price now for a while. I did pick up my i7 for $230 there back in late January.

It is still low at ours, why do they sell it so much cheaper. Probably they know they will get you in the store to buy something else. I have one about 30-40 miles from me. I am waiting for the 930, if it is still lower there I may make the trip. And yes, I will probably end up buying something else. Gee does Best Buy Price match?

I wanted one of these for a long time, my Q6600 is still taking good care of me at 3.6ghz. Id update the cpu in a heartbeat if that was all that was invovled but the mobo change and RAM change make this an expensive upgrade.

I think I will wait for another year and get the new gpu/cpu and a whole new system. I really would like to get an i9 but I hear they are going to be super expensive and more like the "extreme" series cpu's rather than just a whole new cpu series.

i7 920 is EOL, 930 is the way to go now.
