Simple case mod for a long video card
Had to mod my case (Cooler Master Storm Scout) before I even put a motherboard in because the 6950 is so stupidly long it needed another 1/4" or so clearance:

If you are building a desktop, make sure to read the instruction carefully. I somehow fail to see where the cutting has been done? Or is it still in the planning stage?

Edit:
Nowait I see it! Nice job.

That was the point
Thanks. It's just gonna be a royal pain in the rear if I ever have to replace that lower front fan.

Speaking of the long video card, there are now two of them in there. Best part is that the temps don't seem to go over ~85C. Gotta love having good airflow

Pretty and powerful. But, I don't think it is helping your headshot percentage in L4d

I actually just got the card today. Didn't have it in when we played that game.
My damn Internet gave out right as the credits were rolling, so I couldn't see all my stats
Besides... I was branching out with weapons that game. Not using my old standby shotguns as much

Sounds very convenient

I honestly haven't had any time to seriously test them out. Been working instead of gaming
The Unigine Heaven benchmark seems a little stuttery, but it could be my imagination because I'm looking for it, too. I did put an H.60 in last night though. It's taken the CPU max from 77C or so down to 65C with Prime95 having been running for the past 3-4 hours, and that's including a little voltage bump to make it stable at 4.5GHz instead of 4.3, as well as being just barely louder than it is at idle (the previous heatsink got fairly loud when really loaded). I think I've done just about as much as I can to this thing without having to take too many parts out and replace them
