Default Pentium D Dual-Core for only $136

Looks like Intel released a dual core P4 2.66 EMT64 for only $136.

Here is the link

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819116001

Now, this is as cheaper as a celeron, I do not anyone want to buy a regular P4( in this range) or a Celeron D.

Ofcourse it is FSB 533 part( not 800), may be Intel binning failed D800 series at FSB 533. But anyways, it is boon to multi-core desktops and should offer smooth multi-tasking( not the brute power though).

Default Heater

You'll love the 100+ watts it puts out on a cool day.

I know, but if someone wants/needs a dual-core it is cheapest you could buy. Despite the heat, it is still good deal. Love X2 3800, but it is $300 vs $136.

As I mentioned it won't be super-duper for will be smoother for day to day use with Dual-Core.

Wow, $136 is really cheap.

The Pentium D is a piece of junk, but for that amount of money, it should offer anyone looking for better multitasking a great opportunity.
