    Default Is the gtx 690 worth the money?

    Hi. Im in the process of building my first pc, ive been saving some money and i was thinking of buying the 690 to play everything max out for a few years some people have told me that im better off with the 680 but im willing to pay more for the performance and future proof if the pc so what do you think

    A 690 is like two underclocked 680's in SLI. I would suggest going with a single 680, then getting a second one if the performance isn't enough. The only reason to get a 690 is if you for some reason don't have the space in your case for dual cards, or you want to get two 690's for quad-SLI. Otherwise, you're going to get better bang for your buck with a single or dual 680 setup. But the best price/performance of the high end cards is going to be with the 670, or a pair of them.

    Agreed. I'd go for a 680 myself, or you can wait for the next generation of nvidia cards.. A 680 can easily max out anything in recent games and theoretically in the future for about 3-5 years. Get a 680 which has a larger vRAM if you want to do multiple monitor setup.

    Im building my first gaming computer and I will buy 680.
    It is strong enought to run all games at max.

    I will go to GTX 690 because of latest feature. I am sending you a links you can check the features and rank of GTX 690 then you can take any decision easily.
