I want to install a floppy disk drive into my rig. The only problem?
I have a newer motherboard.
More specifically the Asus M5A78L-M LX PLUS
Don't ask why I want one... the point is that I do.

Or would something like this work?

If I'm not mistaken all I need is a USB port on my mobo, right?
And since I don't have an IDE port I plan on using one of these guys to allow me to plug it into a SATA port.

The first link does not have a floppy station. its just meant for the 3.5" external slot ("floppy slot").

The second one will work just fine.

Dont know what you are planning to do with the IDE-SATA adapter tho.

I don't have an IDE port on my mobo.
I was going to use the IDE-SATA adapter to plug it into a SATA port.
