Default die hard console guy coming to the pc world.

So like the title says, i need help figuring out all this pc building talk. I've been reading ALOT of post on this website for a few months(no account). Consoles are getting boring and i want somthin new.

So here we go...... Oh and i couldnt find that Q&A thing to fill out so yea.

Cpu: i5 3570k(read this was better choice than the 2500k if you are going to buy one or the other)

Gpu: gtx 680(i was leaning toward the 670 sli because i will be using a 55in sony tv until i get my 32in).

mobo: idk which one to pick. asrock extreme4 or 6....??

    psu: 750W???

cases: i jus want somthing plain and black.

HDD: does it matter as far as brand??

SSD: i like 120gb for OS and few games. Brand??

OS: windows....Ill have this from my grandmother.

Im sorry if this is a mess. I dont do much writing more of a reader. Please help me and thank you very much.

Budget: i dont have one but the cheaper the better. $1500 sounds good.

CPU - the 3570k is an excellent gaming CPU, it only lacks HT over the i7. If there is a Microcenter near you, you can save alot of money buy getting a CPU and mobo combo from there, but they dont ship so you would need to live next to one.
GPU - I would recommend a GTX670. If you get a factory OC'd version, it performs at the same level, if not slightly higher than the GTX680 and costs $100 less. I have the eVGA GTX670 FTW edition, a quick google search will show you bench marks. Also the size of the TV doesnt matter its the resolution, since TV's are 1080P you would be throwing your money away if you went SLI.
Mobo - Any decent z77 motherboard.
PSU - A quality 500W PSU would suffice (XFX, Seasonic, Corsair examples of high end PSU companies)
Case - That depends on your taste, but don't go to crazy, you can use the extra money on parts
HDD - Samsung, Western Digital, Seagate. The size would depend on your needs.
SSD - prices on SSD's have come down, I've seen 128GB SSD's for $80-90. Theres alot of different ones out there, just do a bit of research. Try to stay away from Sandforce drives. I have a 128GB OCZ Vertex 4, has the fastest read and write speeds.
Budget- $1500 will get you alot, you'll spend less with the parts your looking/I've recommended to get.

EDIT; just wanted to add, I read that your going to be getting a 32" TV as your monitor. If your set on getting a TV instead of a monitor I would highly recommend making sure that its 1080p res and not 720p.

thank you very much Crazy. im not buying the tv its from my old house. Im in the process of moving all my stuff. So using my 55in and gaming with the 670 will let me play at high/ultra? As a noob to pc gaming whats the different between high/ultra is they're both at 60fps? ill be playing bf3, gw2, total war, SC 2, sim city 3, etc?

Here's some very good deals atm. Especially that mobo, I doubt it will stay at that price for long.

    $42 Kingston 2x4Gb RAM, DDR3, 1600mhz, CAS9, Supports XMP
    Amazon.com: Kingston Technology HyperX 8 GB (2x4 GB Modules) 1600 MHz DDR3 Dual Channel Kit (PC3 12800) 240-Pin SDRAM KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX: Electronics

    $105 after rebate z77 supports SLI/xfire
    Amazon.com: Asus P8Z77-V LK Intel Z77 DDR3 LGA 1155 Motherboards: Electronics

The 670 on 1080p will let you play any game that is currently out on MAX graphics (and somewhere around 4x MSAA). And it will play them at 70+ fps. Many games will be over 100fps.
Disclaimer: this is on stock. if your game is graphics modded the hell out of or something else,. it might not beable to handle it.

if you buy a wireless keyboard/mouse, they come with a USB transmitter. You just plug the transmitter into your computer and your good to go.

IF the GTA mod increases the textures / the number of objects that need to be drawn on the screen, yes they increases the workload on the gpu.

You do not need an extra cooling fan.

While intel's reference cooler is kind of low end, it is more than good enough for its job.

Most of intel's customers are not gamers or computer enthusiasts. Most of their cpu's go into massproduced, low-end DELLs or HPs - some of which are located in very humid and hot places. IF their product was unable to handle those conditions: intel woulda went out of business LONG ago to AMD.
Also, if the CPU has any problems because of a poor Intel-supplied CPU cooling solution: Intel is liable and has to PAY YOU - through its warranties

    Regarding: USB's
You can purchase an add-in card / extension card to increase the number of USBS. Some higher end motherboards come with this card for free.
Also, a lot of cases have 2+ USB ports in the front.

I don't see any good mobo deals that come with more USB ports: but here is a mobo that fits your requirements: not a great deal, but not ripping you off.
Amazon.com: Gigabyte Intel Z77 LGA 1155 AMD CrossFireX/NVIDIA SLI W/HDMI, DVI Dual UEFI BIOS ATX Motherboard GA-Z77X-D3H: Electronics
