Default Final Check: $600 Gaming Desktop [6 HOURS UNTIL PURCHASE]

    Intel i5-3550, Raidmax ATX-295WBP - System Build - PCPartPicker

Case RAIDMAX ATX Mid Tower 84.99

    Processor Intel Core i5 3550 Processor 199.99

Motherboard Asus P8Z77-V LX ATX 124.99

    RAM Kingston 8gb 49.99

    Video Card None

    HDD 87.27

    Internet Card

PSU 500W PSU (Included in case)

    Optical Drive Lite-On iHAS124-04 22.98

    Windows 7

    Total 600.21

    Final questions...

    Is this all compatible?

Can anyone find cheaper deals on these?

    Anything I'm missing?

Anything I can beef up on?

I decided tohave no graphics card because my current pc uses intel 2000 + 2.0 ghz intel duo getting 30 fps in minecraft, while my new one will have 3.3 ghz processor and intel 4000 and I'm asuming 80 fps. The reasoning is that I really dont have enough money atm for a really good card so I'm going to save up then buy one about 2-3 months later if I still need one. Also I am getting windows 7 for $20 so I dont need that. Please reply answering my questions.

BTW $50 left on my budget if anything can be upgraded.

Normally I would say not to use the PSU that is included with the case but seeing that your on a tight budget it will have to do.
That $50 would get you a good quality PSU with enough wattage to power it all and have enough juice to add a GPU down the line.

you need to tell us where you live.

The core i5-3550 comes with HD2500. Uo need a i5-3570k or i7 to get HD 4000.

You do not need a internet card - that motherboard comes with an integrate internet card.

The LK motherboard is better than the LX motherboard [It supports SLI/Xfire, has more ports and a better integrate sound]. It's also cheaper too - at $120 after rebate.
Newegg.com - ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

    ($14) DVD-R (cheaper)

    Everything else looks fine

Cool. I'll look into it. I changed the processor but I'm still a bit concerned about the hdd and power supply both being legit. It comes at around $603.00. I live in minnesota and I am going to buy from newegg, amazon, tigerdirect and microcenter. Here is my updated list, Please revise (also looking into a motherboard like the one you suggested).

    CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($214.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V LX ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($137.55 @ Newegg)
    Memory: Kingston Blu 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($49.99 @ Newegg)
    Hard Drive: Hitachi 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($87.27 @ Newegg)
Case: Sentey GS-6070 Abaddom ATX Mid Tower Case ($79.98 @ Newegg)
    Power Supply: Raidmax 730W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($63.98 @ Newegg)
    Optical Drive: LG GH24NS90 DVD/CD Writer ($16.99 @ Newegg)
    Total: $650.75
(Price is lower then it says because of the stores I am buying from etc.)

Linked version: Intel i5-3570K, Sentey GS-6070 Abaddom - System Build - PCPartPicker

btw you saved my butt on the processor end. Thank you sooooo much.

1Tb HDD 7200rpm for ($90) WD is better than hitachi anyway.
Amazon.com: Western Digital 1 TB Caviar Blue SATA III 7200 RPM 32 MB Cache Bulk/OEM Desktop Hard Drive - WD10EALX: Electronics

Unless you are planning to get an SLI configuration - that 730W psu is overkill. PSU's run less efficienctly when under 50% load.
    500W 80+ psu for ($40 after rebate)
    Newegg.com - CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 V2 500W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

and seriously.. the LK is the same exact thing as the LX but with more features. It's from the same company and the same line of mobos. LK is mainstream. LX is for budget (it's their lowest tier). Your just lucky with the price atm in that the LK is cheaper.
BTw, the LK usually goes for around $150-$160, thats a really good price.

[Edit] Oh, you have 2 threads going - thats confusing as fu.ck. lol.

Newest update: Intel i5-3570K, Sentey GS-6070 Abaddom - System Build - PCPartPicker
(New motherboard [LK], New HDD [Western Digital but 500gb not 1tb], New PSU [As suggested])

Please tell me if this ism sufficient and I found it to turn out cheaper than I hoped so I can buy a graphics card sooner after I get the pc running.

Since your getting a PSU you can save a few dollars on the case by purchasing one without a PSU included.

Also that is what I have officially decided on so if anyone knows of compadibity issues or see problems on my build I could really use it because I am purchasing in 5 hours.
